Exhibition
Danish Architecture Centre host exhibitions and trade activities with the purpose of promoting architecture widely and to develop a Danish tradition of architecture and design, which is recognised worldwide. Danish Architecture Centre is known for its exhibition concepts which debates and shows Danish and International architecture. Examples of exhibitions: The New World Trade Centre (Daniel Libeskind’s project for the new World Trade Center was exhibited at Danish Architecture Centre, which was the first exhibition outside New York), Futures2Come (the use of 3D in construction designs), Architecture without boundaries (an exhibition of a number of international star architects, who have recently build in Denmark; Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid, Sir Norman Foster), 7 New Denmarks (a visualisation of what Denmark would be like if working with architecture in a broader spectrum - e. i. building a Super Harbour to connect danish industry with the rest of the EU market and putting the melted ice from the inland ice in Greenland to use by transporting it to the dry areas of Africa).
