The activities of ICAM and its Executive Committee are shaped by guidelines and principles established by the organisation’s charter, drafted in 1979. The ICAM Code of Ethics outlines a set of recommendations for its member organisations regarding access and collecting in architectural archives, the protection of cultural property, and equitable practises for architectural institutions of all sizes.
