icam was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 1979. 36 participants, representing 25 different institutions, attended the first icam meeting that took place in the fortified island of Suomenlinna, off the South harbor of the city, on 20–25 August, 1979. Thirty years later it’s time to celebrate!

Arriving to St. Petersburg in the evening. Accommodation.

Monday August 24th

Bus tour: Imperial St. Petersburg, Alexander Nevsky Monastery, Smolna Monastery, Peter and Paul Fortress, Stone Island Prospect. Lunch. Visit the Russian Museum. In the evening boat tour along canals.

Tuesday August 25th
Bus tour: The State Hermitage Museum, architectural drawings. Lunch. Duke Vladimir’s palace. Nevsky Prospect and its palaces and churches, The Kazan Cathedral. Evening free.

Wednesday August 26th
Bus tour: Imperial Palaces in Tsarskoe Selo, Catherine’s Palace, Cameron Gallery, Alexander Palace. Lunch. Pavlovsk and its garden. Evening free.

Thursday August 27th
Departure to Helsinki at 8:30. Drive to Helsinki via Helsinki-Vantaa Airport if needed.
Arriving to Helsinki about 16:00.

Cost per person EUR 885 in single room, EUR 685 in shared double room.

Russian Visa handling

Every participant has to apply Russian visa before the tour in their own country. More information and instructions will be given to participants after sign-ups.

The post conference tour will be organized with a minimum 25 participants. Maximum number of participants is limited to 35 persons.
