Kabinet Architektury organizes exhibitions and projects on architecture, lectures and exchanges with architects and publishes books. The Cabinet organizes an international festival of architecture, design and art named Archikultura. The festival aims to reach a wide public by discussing questions around the build environment in Ostrava. The Moravian-Silesian Region, in which Ostrava is located, offers an interesting and unique multicultural environment, which is the result of a rich history of idiosyncratic territory that lies on the border of three countries, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia.
