The European Architectural History Network is the first step in the creation of a European Society for Architectural History that will support research and education by providing a public forum for the dissemination of knowledge on the history of architecture in Europe and among scholars of European architecture.
JOIN THE FIRST EAHN STUDY TOUR TO LJUBLJANA, JULY 7-9, 2006!
One of EAHN’s goals involves organizing study tours, which not only allow us to become familiar with architecture in various cities, but also to meet local architectural faculty.
EAHN’s inaugural tour, organized by Eastern architecture specialist Carmen Popescu, takes place from July 7 to 9, 2006 [see the program]. For 200 Euros, our Slovenian colleagues will lead us through the highlights of Ljubljana and its environs [hotel accommodation and travel to tour not included in price]. Discover Slovenia’s architecture, from medieval complexes to Josef Pleçnik, meet new colleagues, and discuss EAHN’s potential for future tours and conferences.
