The Architecture & Planning Library is a learning lab for multi-disciplinary study of the built environment, providing hybrid collections of print and digital materials. While international in scope, the collections contain significant materials on the built environment in Texas, the Southwest United States, and Latin America. The Architecture & Planning Library and Alexander Architectural Archives are part of a network of information resources at UT, including the School of Architecture’s Visual Resources Collection and Materials Lab, the Briscoe Center for American History and the Harry Ransom Center, and the UT Libraries distinctive collections. The strength of our distinctive collections and significant opportunities for digital scholarship enable deep collaborations between the School of Architecture and the UT Libraries.
